GÉANT is an association of members with operations managed through its legal entities in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Our funding comes primarily from the following sources:
- The European Union (EU), via the European Commission (EC), for the management of networking and related projects, or to participate in them. More about our EU relationship.
- NREN network service subscriptions to co-fund the GÉANT Project. More about the GÉANT Project.
- Membership subscriptions (NREN and Associate). More about our membership.
- Earnings from the provision of administrative, consultancy and training services.
- Sponsorship for specific activities such as REFEDS and TNC.
